After yesterday's drive, today's was easy. I pulled into Denver earlier than expected then hit I-70 & went up Hwy. 40 to Berthouds Pass. It was beautiful. The last time I drove through the pass it was dark & near blizzard conditions. The sun was out & it was snowing & the back country skiers were out hitch hiking & shuttling. I ate my lunch & enjoyed the thin mountain air on the continental divide. Tomorrow I hit the slopes & am super stoked. Everyone at the hostel is talking of their days on the mountain. Tomorrow I will I have stories of my own to tell.
