Shoving Off

My next post will be from the road. I leave tomorrow morning.  I have to say I am stoked but also nervous.  I have never traveled alone like this & have never backpacked by my lonesome, let alone in a place as remote as intend to hike which will either be Canyonlands N.P. & then Arches N.P.

That is a week away though.  The first leg I will be playing in the Mountains.   I will be skiing at Powderhorn, A-Basin & Winter Park....maybe more if my legs aren't toast.

The car is partially packed, I am well provisioned, I have a ton of books on CD waiting to be "read" & I still have lots to do before I can finish, like bottle 5 gallons of home made apple wine.   mmmmmmMMMM....apple wine.
